Hello all,
I've got a 1990 Jeep Wrangler YJ. I want to be able to use 33" tires so I'm thinking of either a 3.5" or 4" lift. Obviously when ever I look at different sites, the different brands have their little write up saying pick me i'm the best because this mag says so. Well here's what I've been looking for so hopefully some guidance.
A buddy told me to go get a pro comp 4" lift but they seem pricey compared to some others like:
Old Man Emu 3.5" Kit Rubicon Express 4" Kit Rubicon Express 4.5" Heavy Duty Kit
Am I thinking correctly or should I look at a different brand? Also I know I need to get some decent shocks but don't want to break the bank. Do the shocks that come with the kids are they good or do I need to upgrade? They talk about 200psi or 300 psi, 7 stage or 10 stage just wanting some recommendations.
I know I will need a drop pitman arm, and I need new sway bar bushings so I'm thinking of going with the sway bar disconnects because that would take care of those issues. Anything else I should look at?
Thanks in advance, just hoping to not break the bank and get some good recommendations. I've read some reviews on the different kits and I know alot of it can be personal preference too. I use my jeep for daily errands and want to be able to take it to the trails in a month or two.
