My girlfriend has my Jeep for a few days while I'm doing some work to her car. Yesterday she was pulling onto the street from a shopping center parking lot as a guy in a SUV turned in (she didn't know what kind of SUV it was). She could see that the sun was in his eyes and that he could not see her. There was no time to do anything but hit the brake and brace herself. He jumped out and came to her window, full of apology, asking if she was okay. She told him that this was her boyfriend's Jeep and that he would kill her if there was any damage . The guy just laughed. It seems that the front of my CJ was totally unharmed, the impact didn't even knock any rust off, but the SUV's front bumper was lying on the ground in two pieces.
My '85 CJ got hit.

Uh, yeah. Last summer I had her car for over a month for some pretty major repairs. I admit that I dragged my feet a little getting to it. I hate that car. Then it began to dawn on me..... not once had she asked me when her car would be done. Hmmm.
