The poor Disco 2 never did seem to get the respect in the USofA it did in its native land. Part of this may be a preference for genuinely cold beer over here, plus no young drivers growing up learning to worship the Prince Of Darkness as they discovered that british roadsters are about as reliable as teenage mistresses.

We call them the "green wellie brigade". The upmarket hunting shooting fishing women that look like the horses they ride and use phrases like "awfully decent of you".

Ok, I know this is going to sound like sour grapes, but when I go on holiday, there is NO WAY I am going to spend it a) driving around in or b) sleeping in a bus. However nice it is !

I went across the US in a converted school bus..... twice...
Of course I was much younger at the time and thought it a great adventure....
