2000 Kia Sephia starting problem

Sep 12, 2003 2 Replies

I have a problem starting my sephia. I usually have to let it crank for about 7 seconds or so. then stop and when I let it crank again for about 3 seconds then the engine will start. Does anyone know what the problem could be? thanks. by the way it is the 1.8l DOHC with a 5 speed tranny.

Thanks,

Jeff

Turned out to be the fuel pump. but they broke the sending unit wire while replacing it so I gotta get that fixed friday due to special order.

Jeff
