Well just to keep you all up to date, i have just fitted the "DISCOVERY 300 WINKER + TAIL LIGHT CONVERSION KIT " from Simmonites 4x4 and shock of all shocks it was a straight forward job and all went to plan and took about 30 mins in total. So i now have 4 rear lights and 4 indicators on the rear, this should make me stand out a little better on the road in the wet now. Bit of a strange mod to make my 300tdi look like a 200tdi from the rear, :o) must be a land rover thing.

The 200TDi never had 4 tail and indicator lights - it was some 300's that did.
A friend did a similar conversion with a set of lamp clusters from a Maestro van in a scrap yard for a grand total of 10 quid - how much are Simmonites charging? Hopefully less than the £895 headlight conversion for Series II Discoverys!!!!!! :)
My 300 Tdi has 4 rear lights .. 200's didn't.
But then, neither did _all_ 300's .. ;)
