Burning desire. 110 ? of Alloys & Air con

Ok I've a desire for a 110 for the collection, I'd like 200tdi or 300tdi and would have to be CSW.

I'd also like to tart it up so would want to put a nice set of alloys on. Which years onwards had the axles that accept Landy Alloys without the dust cap poking out of the centre cap hole?

May come to nothing yet and something would have to give in the fleet.

Yes I know alloys aren't best for off roading, I have a set of steels here with near new Off road tyres on for such an event.

Load space and simplicity are swinging my desire most of all.

Air con would be an absoloute boon as we do long trips in Europe while towing. Again are there any specific models that had this is was it purely SVeh's and aftermarket / optional extra for rich farmers?

I'd agree with both those statements, particularly the latter having just got back from an over-night trip to Cheddar and back (from t'other side of Buxton). 156k on the clock on mine (1990 90 hard top, so one of the last

2.5TDs to be made, I guess) and it pulled 70 mph on the M42/M5 no problem. Burns hardly any oil as well. It did burn not much more than 22mpg though!
