diesel rev counter

hiya

im after a rev counter which has to be the same size as a smiths oil pressure instrument,

the counter has to be for a diesel, and id like it to go up to 5000 or so revs as i highly doubt it`ll ever go past 4000.

can anyone point me in the direction of a supplier as i can get petrol ones with all kinds of lights and gizzmos on, but sourcing one for a diesel is a tad more tricky.

they fit to the alternator terminal "w" but all i have on mine is "e" "f" and "n" so any ideas on where it goes.

thanks

andy

I remember a similair question a while ago...I believe canal barges have a rev counter (not the electric ones obviously!) may be worth looking along those lines?
