I'm going to the Yorkshire Dales next week. Does anyone have recent experience of the green lanes in the Hawes area? I note from the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority website that a few of the lanes have yet to be TROd (!) in particular High Lane (Stake Road), Stalling Busk to Cray, Busk Lane, Bainbridge and Cam High Road, Fleet Moss to Bainbridge. Surprisingly open information here
PS: do any of you have favourite ways of taking their significant others green laning without them realising (until it's too late, I mean)? You know: "this is definitely a short-cut and it's on the map as a proper road, so it'll be fine" sort of thing...
