Hi all
When i get to about 30mph there is a groaning niose but i cant tell if it's from the front or back what could it be i. I have only had the car a 200tdi auto a couple of weeks this is my first land rover any help would be greatfull for any help

Bit difficult to tell from your description. Could you be a bit more detailed on the sound? Does it vary in pitch with the engine, or transmission, revs? Does it only happen in one gear? What does it sound like? Louder with the windows open? Does it make a difference if you're accelerating, breaking or cornering?

May I suggest you check the autobox's oil?
If it is dark in colour then you have definately cooked the oil. Either you or the previous owner.
Has the car stayed idle for a long time before you bought it?
If yes, have you changed the oils (including the autobox ones) before starting to drive it?
