OUch. A good argument for mandatory use of crash helmets offroad.
Natalie Drest came up with the following;:
Mandatory ... why?
It appears they had a roll-cage, it appears they had decent seatbelts, it appears no-one got hurt, so why make it mandatory for helmets to be worn?
Why introduce yet more legislation in a knee-jerk reaction to an accident type that few of us, in reality, will ever see?
I have no problems with people wearing helmets, indeed I often do, it's a free choice after all, but to legislate for it is a ludicrous suggestion and only allows further scope for even tighter legislation that will eventually push us away from 'dangerous sports/activities' and back home where we can be safe. There are more serious accidents in the home than there are off-roading, are you advocating helmets to be made mandatory to wear inside a house?
Presumably thats made form lots of different photos? (as its an animated GIF file not a video). I like the big pause due to multiple photos from different angles as it sits there just about to topple!
Click prev or next on that page to see the seperate photo's and the final damage to the car. Erik-Jan.
I am! All children under the age of 4 should wear them...

ITYM - all those sharing a house with children under 4 :)

roll-cage holds up well, though. worth having...
No, for those that share a house with under 4's, it's a cricketers box ...
Surprisingly little damage to the vehicle, considering. Good to see the rollcage holding up, i've always had my doubts about those half-cages people fit to hard tops, but it seems to be just as strong
