Well we have Christmas too look forwards to now, then New year....then Nowt.... :0(Anyone up for another Unofficial say in 6 Months ? Should put itaround AprilI know of a cracking campsite here... site overlooks Derwent and Keswick and the Catbells mountains,views are to die for. It's truely beautiful and has cracking Caravanand camping facilities.Nice Hotel which allows you to use their lounge/ bar and kids welcome.Campers kitchen and the usual shower facilities. Statics for rent too.Should be some off road places nearby and failing that far too muchscenary to take in in one weekend. I've done a bit of scouting aroundlast Easter and last October so know a few good places to visit ifonly for an Expo-picnic.I personally could do 18th to 23rd April, This avoids the bankholidays , 1 because it's busy and 2 because I get paid humongousamounts of money to work them. These Dates also happen to be in Halfterm (at least for our school). Sounds like an idea. Six months isn't that far away really is it. Atleast it doesn't seem it anymore. By the time Christmas is over and thehangovers have cleared it will be nearly time.I might even borrow a caravan to come up there; now that IS serious.I've had a thought since meeting you lot last week though that if youall come down this way again at that's to go to:............... guy "Jumbo" who runs it is a throughly nice chap and is therecently retired chairman of the local 4x4 group who is always out tohelp. He has plenty of camping space and absolutely fantasticoff-roading. It's about another 15 miles or so down the A40 from whereyou turned off to go to the last campsite.Here you have the added bonus of being within a few miles of thePembrokeshire Coast National Park. it won't be too overun with holiday-makers either. Lots of options.Dave

I've not got a problem...even my Doctor says the blood level in my Alcohol system is fine ;0)

Devon would be more of an exploration for us though, Infact I'd prefer Devon and make a long weekend of it given a choice.Don't mind travelling anywhere so long as I can spend more waking hours on the "break" than actually travelling too and from.
