Vote for an old Landie!

Hi all!

Couple of years ago I saved an old Land Rover (Series III station wagon from 1976 with a short wheelbase) from the scrapyard. It was not in good nick. It turned out that a local electrical company had trashed it very badly as a company car.

Anyway, I sandblasted the chassis, hammered the biggest dents down, repaired the engine and the gearbox, and then my sister gave it a new fresh color. And behold: a new car was born! Now I decided to send a picture of this car for "a summer car vote" in a web magazine called "Iltalehti". Check the car from this address:

You can check a bigger picture from the car by pressing the link: "Kuvagalleria: Kes=E4autokisa 3". And, well, if you like what you see, vote for the "safari Landie" by selecting the number 6 and then pressing the "vastaa" button ;-)

Yours,

Happy owner of a safari Landie from Finland :-)
