U beat me to it Rory LOL

MEGA WELL DONE ANORAKS.

U beat the unbeatable Catalysts, the onlt ever unbeaten team on Scrappy, with one BEAST of a tractor.

In fact U STORMED this series, with well built scrappy machines, a true bunch of spanner monkeys (meant in the best possible way).

I love it when Scrappy Challenge do a BIG one. The bastardised Scanny was excellent, wiped the floor of the Catalysts.

I still remember that monster that the Farmers built for the round-britain race, or whatever it was.

So Rory Manton was, like

Well done indeed. I owned a trialler for a while (called Wild Thing - a complete nutter of a vehicle, parts from everything from BMW to Daihatsu with a Series 2 in the middle and a V8 in the front) -

to give you some idea. Lyndon Camidge bought it, saying he wanted to make it road legal. I warned him that this was next to impossible. He said he'd give it a go. I said was he sure? He said yeah, no probs. Now I know why. Well done guys.

Any Anoraks have an update on the fate of the Thing?

As the owner of the other half of WildThing I can assure you it's still up and running, tho currently in need of some suspension bushes, with the birth of my son and Scrapheap I've not had time for the full rebuild, but it will get done in the very near future.

If you have a look at the website in my sig you'll see that the Wild Thing has had a fair bit of use.

Not sure we'll ever make it road leagal but it will get a strip down and rebuild.

Talking to myself, seem the site is down again (our hostmaster has BT - DSL issues at the moment)

If you goto

Nutter.

Thanks, Geoff - that's good news. It's so mental it has to be worth it.
