Slightly off topic, but I've bought a Rover estate to get me to work while I get the 110 sorted. The car has electric window, but the adhesive which holds the glass to the carrier channel, has parted company. I looks like some sort of two part mastic and is black in colour, Does anyone have any idea what it is and where I can get hold of some? Cheers, John
Sounds like a bodge to me, they are usually held in by a piece of thin rubber sheet between metal and glass. Just make sure the metal isn't touching the glass whichever method you use.

Try some Sikaflex (or equivalent), you can pretty much glue shit to water with that stuff!
