Clio oil filter.... Where the hell?

Can anyone enlighten me as to where Renault hid the oil filter on their 1.2 Clios in 2001?

Had a quick look at one the other day... It wasn't obvious!

drivers side (offside) end of the engine block just above the lower suspension arm, its a very small filter.
