Trying to attach a replacement external door trim to a Vectra. The metal frame is attached to the door but the PVC trim needs to be attached to the frame.
Tried silicon and super glue but this fails to hold, is there a adhesive that will make this bond?

Assuming you can clamp it for the few hours it takes to dry I've found Evostick Serious glue pretty good for most things around the car. Especially some soft plastics that many other glues don't work with.
Sikaflex/tigerseal, permanent though.....
