Anyone got any pointers to who makes kit (other than VAG) to interrogate the ECU?

a laptop kit for £148 which could, over the years, make quite a saving.Unfortunately they couldn't guarrantee that it would work on my 1992 318ieven though they sell the 20 pin plug interface lead.Hope that helps.
If you're near Cambridge you can borrow it.
