I have a Nissan Note and the previous owner removed the radio code slip and kept it. Normally I service my car at Nissan but the battery went flat las t week. Now Nissan wants £40 for giving me the code (which they have in t heir paperwork). Ridiculous!

Nissan Part No: 28185 9U20A Model No: PN-3000P Serial: PN3000PA 0019762

Hope someone can help :)

Cheers!

Hi there!

This is the label on the radio.

It's a 08 Reg Nissan Note.

Thanks

So that number is just the serial number, now I know that bit! According to the calculator I have (which I have never used before !) the answer should be 4336

please let me know if it works

Hey again!

Thanks for trying to help. Unfortunately the code didn't work. It just went to "Try in 59" so I'll have to drive around a bit with it until I can try another code.

I did get a message from an unlock site about 20 minutes ago, saying they think the code is stored in the EEPROM and can't be decoded.

Zooming in on the label there's a bit at the very bottom that says it's a Clarion radio, part no. 276-0034-58. I missed it earlier but googleing it seems to suggest that it's only available from the main dealer.

I should've looked more carefully at the label to begin with.

I'll have to wait until payday I guess :)

Again, many thanks for trying. A true star!

It was the Clarion calculator that I used, but it might be for earlier types I suppose. this site seems to supply them, several examples of that exact radio:

You need to start a new thread with your question.

To provide a radio code, the make/model/year of vehicle is needed, together with the model and any serial numbers that are on the maker's label on the radio unit.
