The car is a 97 plate and the problem is sometimes on start up the engine revs between 1,000 and2,000 over and over for a couple of mins then settles down and drives normaly,another problem is ,driving along nornaly then suddenly the engine goes to full throttle on its own it is very scary and usualy drops back to normal again after a few mins,ive been told its a damper problem but i cant find it ,,,can anybody help
