A friend has a 2.0 litre Ford Galaxy with a noisy engine. With the engine removed and stripped down it can be seen that one crankshaft bearing has moved, damaging the crankshaft - which needs to be re-ground. There's a competent guy locally who's willing to do the re-grinding but his bearing supplier (who's in Australia) says that these bearings are "on back-order". He's been waiting for these for a couple of months and ISTM that he might still be waiting next Christmas! Can anyone here please point us towards an outfit here in UK who might be able to supply these bearings? My interest (and concern) about this is that this stripped-down motor is taking-up a large part of my workshop space!
