Skoda Favorit parts for the discerning (but uncool) motorist

I know they're noisy, rattling things, these Favorits, but my estate swallows up everything I put in the boot, never fails to start, and.....look at these prices:

Click on non-original parts.

I've had some bits from this place before and the non-original brake master cylinder was made by Ferodo!

I keep thinking perhaps I'll buy a Japanese car but I can't seem to get rid of the Favorit :)

I had one . It was my dads before mine M reg . It got totalled by a BMW boy racer who decided to T-Bone me.

Excellant work horse. Always started. Cheap to ensure. Swallowed anything you wanted. And with 160k on the clock was a true workhorse in its life. If it hadnt off been written off , it would still be going strong now.

Ive just started a small business and need a cheap reliable Estate and guess what im looking at.

I'll bookmark this page... I've been buying my parts from Butts of Bawtry.. But these seem really cheap.

I've just got my L-reg Blackline estate another years MOT... I keep telling myself to buy a modern but the old Skoda is a fantastic workhorse... It moved a concrete sectional garage last year a couple of panels at a time.... and just comes back for more.

Cheers,

Paul.

They used to be near Barnsley, Yorkshire, but the guy who owned it is emmigrating to NZ (I know him - he also imported bikes from China and I've had a few off him). From what he tells me he's sold the business to somebody around Manchester way, though I doubt they'll give me the same prices on bike spares!
