Press To Talk systems are not illegal to use when driving. A specific exemption for these was made in the law when they introduced it.

There is that :D. The OEQuoteFix thing works for most things out of the box, you just install it and run it instead of outlook - it runs outlook when it starts up.

Why? It's no different to buying anything else. If I want to buy a car that doesn't drive and push it off down the street with my mate in the drivers seat steering, it's none of the dealer's business whether what I'm doing is safe or not...

I bought my last 2 cars on a 'sold as seen' basis - the traders wrote in big writing on the invoice something along the lines of:

'Trade sale - no warranty given'

OK, so these were cars costing several hundred pounds, but the theory is exactly the same.

You'd be amazed at the bargains you can pick up if you drive a car away on these terms.
