Hi,
Started my car this morning to see to the handbrake and battery light stay on, whilst driving. In the past they have flicked on for half a second. But never for as long as they did today (40 mins) The handbrake was down, but the light stayed on. Im going to have a look in the vauxhall book (i forget its proper name) when i get home, i was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions to what is causing this?

Brakes feel fine (had them replaced 700 miles ago). Off to a garage tommorrow, hopefully its nothing too complex!
Aux drive belt is slipping or missing, or alternator is not charging. You'll have a flat battery soon.
I had it on my old Micra. It was the rear brake that was leaking, had to change both. I would check if it's not wet.

I can pretty much guarentee it's not brakes related on this. I've seen it hundreds of times.
Brake fluid is fine (checked it) Car is getting serviced/mot'd on thursday, and ive made him aware of the problem.
