I have just purchased a 1998 R reg Vauxhall Vectra 1.8 LS ( 41,000 miles)... I don't know which engine oil ..i should use...
If any know has any knowledge about the oil i should use..I will be really really greatfull... As i have to top up my oil as..

Should be a 10W40 oil.. I'm sure at that age it should just be a standard mineral oil.

I never used a car before... I went to halfords ..they asked me whether I want synthetic or semi synthetic ... I don;t which one ...
