Pricing a rare Sunburst Yellow

Hey tom,

Last year, while driving up to a tool show North of Baltimore, I passed several SUV's sliding around like they were idiots (prolly were) many were stuck in ditches because they just don't knoiw how to drive those things, but my good 'ole Miata kept straight as an arrow - couple of inches of snow and icing on the overpasses. Not recommended but hey, I made it both to the show and home safely.

Not death trap at all, they just don't hook up like when it's dry :-)

Highly recommended for what it's worth then there's the Toyo which I'm sure are great tires as well...anything else ????

There is nothing like personal experiences. I really appreciate all the help. I tend to research eveything to death. Unlike when I bought the Miata a couple of months ago. We were actually shopping for an SUV at the time. We spotted Crystal Blue several rows away, and were drawn to it like mosquitos to a light. My wife and I looked at each other, and we just knew we had to have it. Most spur of the moment thing we have ever done. And we've loved every minute of having it since. I never did buy a SUV.

No summer tire should be driven on snow/ice. My T1-S's are fabulous on wet pavement. I would expect the Yokohama ES100's to be good in the rain as well.

i have no experience with the Toyos but i can endorse the ES 100s. i haven't broken them loose under "normal" wet conditions during the ~1000 miles i've had them. good price too!
