Pat, your druel is virtually dripping on my keyboard! Will you ever meet this dream girl?

It sure looks like I am heading far, far away. But no fear, she will follow. I know when the bait has been taken and she will leave that muscle-bound mate of her's and follow me across the country in her miata, finally giving in to the true calling in her heart.....

You notice she has disappeared? Heh-heh, I tend to have that effect on women. :-)

Pat

You know, when he said that I told him he was projecting.

bathroom. I think

Synergy CAN be very attractive. But you see, he buys me jewelry on demand! And does the dishes! That's a doubly whammy and girl would be nuts to turn her back on.

Ha!! My husband often wanders through the house crooning "I use to love her but I had to kill her". Me, I've never been a Guns 'n Roses fan.

Hey I haven't disappeared at all. But I do have Roadrunner cable which means that every once in a while, as a customer, I am simply SCREWED if I want to actually use the service that sucks so much money out of my bank account every month. My MIATA never fails me like Time Warner does!!!

Now that you mention bait... I might follow you across the country if you like to fish. I like to fish but I won't take the things off the hooks once I catch them and my husband won't either (he's big, but he has his girly side) so we get our fish at Gulf Pride Fish Market. It's just not the same. They don't let you sit there for hours drinking dark Mexican beer and cuss. You DO like dark Mexican beer, RIGHT?

BTW I met a friend for lunch this afternoon and when I got to the restaurant there were two other Miatas in the parking lot. A cherry red and an (incredibly fast, of course) white. I made three. When I left there were five. FIVE! Obviously very brilliant people like this restaurant.

Well, which was it, did he say get a hummer or give a hummer? They need to make a car called the Clinton. Oh crap, now I've had it.

Hey, I do dishes. But jewelry can be a problem, I tend to sell it rather than buy it. I think that your husband needs to buy this elegant Esempco gold and amethyst filigree pendant for you.

Or perhaps a silver, abalone and crushed turquoise hair clip?

I didn't say I had high-dollar stuff, and anyone who makes fun of my 20 year old pink poodle coffee mug has to bid on it, no exceptions.

No, they are not my band. I prefer "Young Lust" by Pink Floyd:

"I am just a new boy, Stranger in this town. Where are all the good times? Whos gonna show this stranger around?

Ooooo I need a dirty woman. Ooooo I need a dirty girl."

One girlfriend's favorite song was "I need a lover who won't drive me crazy". I was not that lover.

Roadchicken has been pretty reliable here lately. I was one of their first thousand customers in Austin, back during my super-geeky online gaming days. It took about two minutes to say that's it for the 56K modem, but their e-mail was completely useless at first.

I've tried, I could grab a pole and be at the water with a 5 minute walk, (for the last two years), but I am too impatient to fish. If they don't bite within 2 minutes, I am checking my bait. It's hopeless.

However, I think that I had a beer back in 2003 or 2004. I seem to get the urge to drink one about once every 5 years, but don't usually finish it.

Is this your male friend that yells "brakes woman!"? :-)

Pat

I'd be concerned about this music coming from a guy dumb enough to choose a .44 magnum as a concealed carry piece... 8;) /2

Heh, that's pretty good. The olive branch is extended to you as well, Larry. Hopefully I didn't irritate you or piss you off as badly as I did Leon. :-)

Pat

Well I was gonna say "it would have to have blue upholstery but I'm trying to remember that this group is about MIATA

I clicked both of these links then went to the "other listings" where I saw the poodle mug. I thought "damn I think that is ultra cool"... then I came back and read your threat. Who could dis that mug? It's wonderful!

Ha! No - no. It was my wonderful friend/boss who none the less also thinks Miata drivers are a little crazy. That could be because of the little incident that put me on a Life Flight chopper and killed my first Miata a couple of years ago. But what does SHE know? She drives an Expedition! I tell her we should carpool. We'll get a ramp and I can drive my zoomzoom into the back of her behemoth and that will save me a lot of gas.

Excellent point, Larry! But when he carries it is his Baby Eagle. He only bought the .44 because he was having inadequacy issues with me owning a Security Six .357

Tell me that you fire magnums instead of .38 specials out of that Ruger and my heart is your's.... If you reload, I will have to talk to your hubby, there is a limit to what a guy can take.
