Anyone have specs on the 2003 Mini's OEM Alpine model CD53 R50 AM/FM CD unit?
RMS power output and type of CD formats supported would be helpful. Thanks.

Rating of the stock speakers are 15 watts at 5 ohms - head unit is probably close to that. It only plays CD Audio - no mp3 or wma. It does handle CDR/Ws, but some people have had skipping units replaced.
I replaced mine with an aftermarket Alpine the first day I got the car home.
