anyone interested in a very tweaked Supra?

One of the old Turbo jobs, big wheels, questionable graphics, Brembos, leather, loads of bits, £3k spent, manual, according to the geezer who's got it it's /quick/

£1200.

Yes, send the pictures to the Barryboys website, they would love it. £3k spent? That's the usual line from someone selling a shed on ebay - and all boy racers say their car is quick. WOW, it has a manual - don't all cars come with one. Big wheels means it's probably been messed about with and handles like a jelly. Brembos, I would like to see the invoices from a qualified mechanic for fitting anything not standard, mainly for insurance purposes. Questionble graphics? Probably a complete shed that has been thrashed about car cruises by a local scally. Give us the registration number so we can all check how many car cruise sites have videos of it. Avoid at all cost !

Fuck you know your shit. I was half expecting it to be an Auto. Didn't realise some MK3 Supras were manual. God aren't you a knobshite Ken.

Forgot to mention, it's got a straight cut box, amongst other bits.

That'll be a straight cut *manual* gearbox, along with Konis and the like.

Oh, silly spoiler on the back alert...

We both know that. But Mr Knob says they all have manuals, so he must know.

Hmm mentioning Barryboys like thwart is normally a sure fire sign of stupidity but let's give you the benefit of the doubt for the rest of the post.

Ah quite a lot of the supras were autos and there are quite a few auto only cars available.

Big wheels may mean it's been modified but far from "handles like a jelly" it's probably had the compromises the factory put in taken out so there is as much chance of it handling better as worse.

Do you know what's involved in fitting a set of Brembo(or any other make) of upgraded stoppers?

Are you a qualified mechanic? No Have you examined the car? No Do you have a clue about automobiles? No

You aren't in a position to comment now are you, remind us all of what you drive.

5 or 6 speed? Standard or shorter ratios? What about the diff? Sounds like an ideal candidate for drifting depending on the turbo.

And even disregarding that, is he aware of what counts as a "qualified mechanic" these days?

See I would want that for a mechanic fitting stuff that was standard and replaced through wear. Some mechanics actually charge to "replace worn parts", when there wasn't anything wrong at the start. Non standard parts can be seen, so you know the old parts haven't been left on but charged for.

Oh, sorry you are a troll aren't you. Should have guessed by the smell.
