But gross weight of over 1600 (which I assume means full of fuel, oil, other essential fluids, packing the tool kit and spare tyre, stereo, speakers etc) is the real world weight.

=A356+vat and shipping from DTs for Goodridge, or =A365 all in (less owners= =20 club discount), from Fensport for their locally assembled ones.

I remembered wrongly, have since checked, Gross total weight 16hundred (and something) kilos. Still lardy, but it did win the WRC.

Not on yours with its rim fouling dodge viper anchors!
Bit more believable, but still bloody lardy ;)
Don't fancy a head-to-head accident with it anyway ;)
ISTR recall that behind the nice innocent looking plastic bumper/airdam, the full width steel support bar (box section girder) weighs 120 kilos on it's own. And I can believe it. It is mahoosive. Really gets in the way of trying to mount a decent front mounted intercooler.
The more competition inspired carlos sainz had a much lighter small alloy one to fit behind the much more exposed CS bumper, and an FMIC slots right in.
Mine were Goodridge, and I'm pretty sure they were £31 or something. Lifetime warranty is nice :)
They sent me the wrong fitment for the car though - some connectors were male instead of female or something ! Luckily the fitter man at my garage managed to sort it - if Fishman looks under the bonnet, he'll see one brake pipe has been replaced, and if he looks in the driver's side (I think) wheel arch (from outside the car), he'll see a crazy Male --> Female u-bend in the pipework !
Yeah, so far they've been great ! I had planned to uprate them right away, but I've had no fade issues whatsoever as yet. And they don't seem to generate anywhere near as much heat as the TI's did ? After a run, the TI's brakes are like four space heaters. The Pug's brakes are barely even warm.
Having said that, the TI shares it's pads (which are MAHOOSIVE by the way, as you'll see when you come to change them) with the Honda NSX. It's the discs (not shared with the NSX) that are a steaming pile of s**te.
Hmm, it wasn't =A365 all in, it was =A365, less the OC discount, +VAT, Plus= =20 =A37 next day delivery +VAT on delivery. Came to =A382
Nice looking though, very solid brass fitting, plastic sheathing over=20 the braiding to protect it, with the proper central locking section that=20 is clipped to the strut, instead floating free like some of the unknown=20 makes were.
Still, I have them now, booking MOT this after, and see how it goes.
