There's nothing incompatible with a car that can deliver 700 bhp maximum, and also 25 mpg, just not at the same time. I mean, Concorde was doing something not much off that, while in high speed cruise in the jet stream, and I bet that has more than 700 BHP.
Not that this car is an example of that, it's more or less unmodified and the advert is a patchwork of lies or self-delusion. Still, I think we all realise that.
You'll laugh, though, it sold for "buy it now", to a buyer called i_dont_want_your_shit_car_ha_ha, for the modest, and quite reasonable, sum of £17,600
I mean, a good example of the best of Ebay. Sadly, we all missed out, as i_dont_want_your_shit_car_ha_ha will naturally pay up and enjoy the vehicle they have bought for many years to come, marveling at the outstanding performance 700 BHP provides.

Scuttlebutt on the forum is that with the mods listed, 350bhp is feasible, 400bhp /maaaaybe/, and where are the brakes?
And if he paid that much for the mods, he was seriously ripped off.

No. Not really. I mean, if your lard-ass Japanese chestwig normally capable of 0-60 in about 8 seconds and 135/140mph and 200/230bhp is churning out 600+bhp, 900lb/ft torque, and the standard brakes are kinda marginal and 15 years old, you're not going to want to upgrade. Nu-uh.

The standard brakes are not good enough for the standard 200bhp in my N/A auto, IMO. Triple that? I'd like better brakes please.

In what sense, though? If it has ABS, the brakes will achieve the same braking effectiveness as the tyres can manage, unless the stock ones - and I doubt this
- cannot lock up the wheels were it not for the ABS stopping that from happening.

I have never driven any standard car that can still lock up the wheels, after a few miles of hard driving ! Standard brakes are always woefully inadequate if you're wanting to make real progress. 2 or 3 *hard* slows from 90mph+ and your brakes are toast...

On a per passenger basis, my car manages ~500mpg with the boot full of bodies. But only that one time....
Can you count the dead people in the boot? Do they need to be complete as you can pack them in better if you cut them up then put the bits in.
