The rims on the one in the pics look a lot nicer than the ones on the 2.2

406 Coupe my boss drives. Half the spokes on those are plastic FFS.

Also, I think the standard 620ti rims are really nice, only bettered by the

17" (or was it 18"?) version of the same rim design fitted to some later 820s, but Nom replaced those with aftermarket ones too.

I love em PLENTY :)

Some crazy fool lost TWENTY GRAND on it, over it's three-years :)

It was a 17" version that came on the 820 Vitesse. They fit straight onto the TI too.

I tend to dislike factory alloys :) And I managed to pick up those for the TI, second hand, for £150 - I'd have been crazy not to have snapped them up...

...and I get to use 225/40 rubber with some aftermarket wheels :)

Its going in the 407 Saloon as well i do beleive ;)

Plus i do beleive you kept the standard rims anyway didn't you?

Where'd you read that ?

I didn't think it was ?

Yes, they're in the garage :)

Any TI owners here want a set of 17" rims with good tyres ?

£150 ?

Ya I know, feckin' wonderful isn't it!

If I could find a 406 2.2 HDI coupe in that colour I'd have one.**

**disclaimer: I'm not looking, we've no money either, heh.

I recall that 2.2 HDi chips straight to 160 or 180bhp or something? And its generally regarded as a pretty nice engine?

[snip]

Quite probably, just needs a different home for me.

Love the styling, though.
