Aaaaaagh, it the attack of the clones. There are too many Evos and Scoobs out there already, don't fall for the "It has to minimal and papermache to be quick" arguement.

If buying an expensive well maintained car, my chocies would be.

5)Scoob. Because there are lots arround, so finding a broken one for spares wouldn't be a killer 4)Evo. Like wise, but not (quite) as common as a Scoob 3)Saab 9-5 H.O.T Aero. Because as new/near new cars go, there is a lot of go, in a very subtle stealth package. 2)Audi Coupe quattro turbo. Because as the daddy of them all, it has class, poise, balance, and history. Didn't make 1) because they are all old now and need very special attention. 1)Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R. Because it has everything. Loads powerful enough as it came out of the factory, and if you can plough the wedge in, can be made insanely powerful.

Oh you can, but you need to find someone who will issue a mortgage on a car.

Just get yourself a standard CQT. Ask Julian Stafford (not been arround much for a while), they are lairy enough in standard 250bhp format, without the shorter sport shell.

What, because they're not making a Lotus Carlton Estate? That's perfectly understandable. I'm sure their sales will drop massively because of that. If they were interested in a 'way out', they could do a conversion on my Carlton, and use the publicity from that to launch the new model. I really can't see why they're not doing it.

I take it your not a fan then?

I like corrado's I think they are a very well put together car, nice engine (sounds nice) reasonably quick and handle pretty well.
