Surely that's not a real pic ?

Where's the front ? No way a little tree like that could compress a car that much !

dunno how that tree didnt colapse, the car must have been doing 100mph to impact like that.

Looks too real to have been set up

Looks like a set-up to me. And if it was such a horrific accident and someone died, I doubt the police would be letting all those people stand around.

Yup I would say the same, where is the Engine etc? engines dont get mashed easily

TBH it looks like it was ripped in two - I assume the engine and the other wheels are elsewhere.

I can't see why anyone would bother setting something like that up.

ffs, of course it's been setup.

They don't tend to allow bystanders at major accidents, and they don't tend to leave the debris behind either...

It's quite possible that's where the rear-end landed - not necessarily what it first hit!

Anything could've happened - it could've been a parked car cut in two by an artic!

messing about

100mph rain and stuff like that country roads half the car is somewhere else possibly in the field in the background this bit is the bit which got caught on camera apparently, the "driver" fell out when the car flew apart and was unhurt pity

There was a photo somewhere downunder of a MR2 in two parts. He had been going to work in Sydney at 100mph in fog. Two seats with an airy view attached to the rear, front end and screen 20m away mangled, doors and roof pannels nowhere in sight. Driver walked away from that one too.

Little 4" silver birch don't move when a car hits them. Might drop it's leaves a few weeks early. Even hawthorn hedges are unaffected by cars, either they just bend out of the way or they stop the car. I once saw an undamaged Sierria 4x4 parked 10ft above the road on top of a hedge - he had lost it in snow, spun, mounted the hedge which had given but the car failed to get over/through it and into the field so the hedge had sprung back with the car on top.

Best thing that could happen to a MK1 Cortina?
