That is some truly awful stuff.

See, I have always said the gold toyota/lexus badges are the worst thing going.
Even amongst the owners communities, unless it was original, most of them prefer the plain chrome ones and if available, the smoked black ones. Some have even worked out hardwaring DIY ways of making spare chrome ones into smoked ones.
