Yup. I've seen it too. Actually been there a few months. See if he will take a 75 in part ex. The T613 actually sort of handles (but not in a western way) but you get Skoda estelle and rapid door handles, switch gear and pedals.
I would love an old 603, drives like a bison on castors in a ball pit, but looks just so right in dark colours.

Agree it's good. Much better looking than a 613.

In news: snipped-for-privacy@news.individual.net, Elder wittered on forthwith;
I prefer the black CX on the other side of the road, but the 603 does look somewhat funkatious.

When you hit M-B in a big way, I can see any Tatras left in CZ being Scalped from unknowing owners and shipped to the UK ;)

OMG. That has to be one of the ugliest things ever created by man. I like it. I can certainly see why an Alfa 75 fan would go for it :-D

Oh! I've just had to visit the toilet for a private moment.
I'll take it now! Is the pricing about right?

there are so few in the UK that they can prettty much ask what they like.
The Tatra club/register would be the best people to talk to. But they are big. Against an XJ for comparison.

C900 is as long as an XJ isn't it? and I have no issuses with lwb sprinters so I guess I should be able to pilot a tatra!? Though I'd be even happier with one of these:
In the end how far did you get with the pc in your 900T?

Very rare that. Older but not bad at all.
It went in with the 10" screen in the first 900 I had. I forgot to sheild the controller and something behind shorted. I never got round to fixing it, although I did buy a controller board.
I did buy a 7" TFT to try and fit into the GT4 double din, but sold the care before I finished moulding into a spare bezel.
The 'tavi is a bit new for me to butcher up. So I'll stick to a CD/MP3 Player ATM, with my laptop for GPS if I need it on the passenger seat, and a map if I have company.
If I get round to having a project custom/rod I'll build one in. Maybe even an old Skoda or Tatra. Something that has a silly wide console already, or would need one making. I notice that the old MGB console with the single lower speaker might just be the right size to get a 7" screen in without any hassle.
I have all the bits to build a more compact system, and might put that together.
12V ATX PSU instead of an inverter, that kind of thing. And I should be able to get almost everything except the DVD into a Double din space as long as I find a decent laptop HDD.plan is for USB bluetooth for handsfree, USB GPS for NAV and USB 802.11G for file copying at home. I plan to put those in a small single "comms pod" that will sit under the edge of the windscreen at the front.
Also something I plan for is, using either a dinky composite camcorder type TFT or even a Character display, a small mirror and a fresnel lens (like the JML credit card magnifier) to create a mini HUD for displaying speed and nav turn directions. have it tied into the nightime switch and have a simple power switch if in town to avoid distraction to drivers.

Sounds like you've thought about this a lot! Very detailed! Is software for the type of project you are envisioning available 'off the shelf' or will you have to hash something up? The gui on that tatra looks effective

The Tatra front end was written by the owner as he didn't want a touch screen.
But if you have a look at
Other people have written GPS apps to use Destinator maps, or TomTom POI and PocketGPS camera DBs, or to act as bluetooth handsfrees that can be embeded into front ends.
There is another team working on a commercial AM/FM radio module witb RDS so you can control it through the USB header on the motherboard
It's a very serious business. Some of the installs look pro for home builds.

Fuck me. I've quite fancied one of those for a while. Actually seeing close up pics of one has put me off. You just know it's going to be third rate everything on the interior.

That is a fairly late one, so pretty much westernised. Early 613, and even more so the 603 was a very out of touch car. But they were still the choice party leader, secret police, and big "businessmen" in the sov block over all the other "limo" makers.
I would still rather have a 603 though (have you seen Limony Snickett's series of unfortunate events?)

The interior trim of those makes an Alfasud look classy and the outside was styled by someone who normally worked in concrete.
No thanks. A 603 yes, but a late-model square job just doesn't have the appeal.
