Bigger profile because the fronts are a lot narrower, you mean?

Cool, I remember Thresh winning that from Jon Carmack in my Doom playing days, the poxy fker. I've won quite a few hundred quid from playing Quake competitions myself, but sadly nothing of quite that stature :)
It had nitrous fitted as well when Jon gave it away, can't see any mention of that on there...

The rear 335 is quite a bit wider than 235 front if you ask me.

Its down the bottom as an 'asked question'. They took it off coz "The engine has so much power that it just didn't really add anything"

However, it was for sale last year on eBay with a completely blown engine - hole through the block if I remember correctly !
What's the betting that guy bought it, bodged it up for cheap, and now he's making some swift dollars :)

Well true but I don't think you will get many cars that will be as stable at
1000 bhp.- Vote on answer

exactly....
for that money (initial investment of a 'rarri + the work done) i'd expect a fairly relaible 1000Bhp. it can be done too as proved by many a company demo car.

Yeah but those cars are all drag strip quarter mile cars, that ferrari is road legal at 1000 bhp, I know there are cars that can be put on boost up to
1000 bhp that have been features in mags but most state in the feature that they dont run it at that sort of power rateing normally.- Vote on answer

Nope. Needs a very expensive special reinforced 2.7L block to run over 800bhp.
What do you mean by stable? Last a year of daily driving with a drag run every month and a couple of track days?

You will never get a reliable 1000hp from a sub 3 litre car. The only way to get that much power is boost and lots of it and there is a few (very few) cars that have that much horsepower in Japan, they are grenades. Even with an Os Giken 3 litre block and a couple of Trust turbos you aren't going to be getting much time between rebuilds.
