To insure as is: £266 (fully comp, protected NCB, £150xs)
To insure with +50bhp Nitrous: £329 (same conditions)
Hmm. Nothing there to scare me off....

Hehe undoubtedly. As a percentge that's what, about 25%? That'd be over £150 on mine hehe! Are you insured with Flux already? Because like, you won't find anyone except Burgerman in the whole world that would recommend them...

I dont recommend them other than over the years for daftly modded stuff, like my sierra V8 nitrous etc, my brothers (similar but more race car than road) and my 3 litre V6 capri engined 4 door 1.6L cortina, Nitrous XR2 (DONT ASK!) and many others there was never a problem and in nmany cases they charged less than before mods with other companies. Although I never had to claim...

No it was a stopgap car after I flogged the V8 Sierra for about a week. The price was right... A late model. It was almost new and was crap! Typical understeering front drive trolley. And it did less to the gallon (according to the built in fuel computer) than my granada scorpio. Slower too. It finished its days with the engine where the passenger seat was as I ripped the rear axle off a volvo that pulled out of a side street on me.
No XR2 I know of had a fuel computer...
No. the grandad did, worded badly. My mileometer and reciepts (and pocket) told me how crap the fester was.
That granada did 44 at 60 to 70 (cruise control) on a motorway.
