OT Micro$oft XP bugs

Yup more have been found that would allow remote code to be run the problems affect 2000,XP (32 and 64 bit with or without service packs) and windows server

2003. The problem lies in: "the Plug and Play service", TAPI, Print Spooler, domain service. There is also a fix for one of the fixes that caused a GHP error. In short another good week for Microsoft.

If you haven't done a windows update this week it's probably a good idea.

Firefox won't help with any of the above bugs as they are in xp not IE.

not that either are exploit free.

But most of the exploits are initiated through IE.

Automatic Updates is on by default in XP Service Pack 2 - if you've turned it off, then it serves you right when you get infected. And if you haven't turned it off, then you're already patched, and all is well :)
