That must be, literally, the worst car on sale today.

Close, but I reckon the Aixam beats it. If you go for the diesel version, you get a smooth as a spiky thing 2-cyl NA lump, genuine glacier-beating performance (Vmax=78mph, 0-60 in hahahahaha) and all of
45mpg, and you can have all of this for only £2k more than a fiat panda.I don't know why anyone ever bought one of these things.
HMMMM you mean he don't mean the CLK touring car? :) with turbo bolted on of course hehe

I got into that hole. Decided the only way out was to quit IT and take another hobby seriously - I started doing a degree in photography! Couple of months in, I realised if I actually wanted to be a photographer, I should probably actually become a photographer rather than spend three years copying other people's photographs and arguing with lecturers about 'art'. Still, I don't like giving up on things, so... About six months after I started, I ran out of student loan (well, I *did* go to Peru for a month....) and an old business contact got in touch about a computer system he wanted developed. I really couldn't juggle all the arguing with lecturers, lack of money and trying to program some virtual-camera-weird-stuff, so I did a project that got voted best in the year and then decided that would be a good time to leave :P (I would've failed anyway!)
I've since set up my own company with another IT guy, going pretty well so far :D
IOW, I guess, it seems to me it's best to do what you're good at. It isn't that hard to learn .NET. You could probably blag yourself a job somewhere in software development if you sound clued-up and enthusiastic enough.
Oh yeah, and when you've got enough money, then stop doing what you're good at and do what you want to do instead. IME all second-hand bookshops I know have been around as long as I can remember. Just find a good location with a lack of bookshops and a lot of people!
Chris.
I dunno, get the MR2 moved to work and it'll be sparkling when you get your licesne back,
Those silly little Aixam things are comedy. Passed one once on the motorway, infact everything passed it.
