Jewish Racing Gold. Nice.

Good man. Good solid engine, right box for a Merc, and enough comforts and toys to be enjoyable.

I've been considering either a 190E or something maybe a "little touch" larger when the fascination with the Celica wears off (that actually won't be for a while yet).

My direct superior has an E36 AMG and it is an absolute animal. I love it, but wouldn't tell hom that.

Strangely appropriate for said car ;-)

Two things: -

  1. Is an E36 AMG a cross between an AMG-tuned E-class Merc and a '90s BMW
3-Series?
  1. Is your boss Ken Hom? (of Hot Wok fame)

Take one Merc 360E. Give it to AMG. Comes back an E36 (or AMG 36E whichever you want). Bit like the SL500 became the SL55 AMG when they have tweaked it and increased the engine size. there was an E43 too, but the extra size and weight of engine cancelled the extra power and it had exactley the same performance for higher fuel consumption.

Looks a little like

Some info

It has little tweaks like Mahoosive tyres all round and slightly larger at back than front, all the wood trim in a Merc is CF in an AMG. Suspension is absolutley rock hard. And as a 2.4 tonne bus it can do 0-

60 in a very quick time. The auto box as a 2 stage kickdown. First stage you take off like a scalded cat, second stage could put you into orbit if used correctly. It's an old car being an N reg, but it still doesn't look dated, just an old fashioned design.

Nah, wish he was, might be worth having arround then. Sometimes in the middle of the day, could just do with a nice Chow Mein.
