Bullitt wheel paint color/code?

Jul 19, 2004 6 Replies

Hey all, I've got an 02 GT with Bullitt wheels (stock) that a tire shop managed to take a chip out of . I went to Ford and they have no idea what color paint is used. They did offer to sell me a new wheel though...

Anyone have ideas on how to figure out what color paint is on the center portion of the rim? Thanks! Ohioman911

Don't need an entire new wheel b/c of a small chip. Keep trying to find the proper paint.

You MAY be able to go to an upper end automotive paint supplier and have them match the color. Many of them have a little tool that looks at the color (like they have at home depot) and can make a formula for it. They may even have the code in one of their books.

Thanks. I'll check the phone book. Amazing that nobody can tell me what color this is. It does NOT appear to be anthracite. It's lighter silver.

They may be like the 93 Cobra rims that have multiple layers of baked on epoxy and not paint. You can try what Kate mentioned or let a reputable body/paint shop color match, touch up and blend...
