clutch

My clutch is starting to slip... and the next clutch I want to get I want to be able to handle more torque & grab.. not slip. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance.

I am using the King Cobra pressure plate with a Centerforce dual friction clutch disk. It handles over 400 hp with ease and has stock clutch effort.

I had a King Cobra that I went through pretty quickly. I'm going to try Spec next, heard very good things about them. They have 5 different stages for all needs. Check them out.

Don't King Cobra clutch kits have Centerforce components? Or I could be wrong. I dunno. I'll research. thx.

They may; it's been a long time since I clutch-shopped. I did look at those, but don't remember... I actually run an OEM 93 Cobra clutch in my

67 w/Tremec setup. I don't figure I make much more than 250 hp, the way it is now. It is torquey, and I do run 3.80s, but just 225/70R-14 GT radials, which light up easily, by design at this point. Until I eliminate all the vibration in the drivetrain, and get the pinion angle right, I don't want it to hook up so severely... when I put in the Real Deal, and make it hook up, I will need to swap in a beefier clutch.

Good luck with your research. I have heard mixed reviews > Don't King Cobra clutch kits have Centerforce components? Or I could be
