I know who he is, I just didn't think anybody listened to him in their Mustang. Sort of blows the image. ;-)

So I guess you're familiar with Sharks that live on the land? Fins to the left, fins to the right, and you're the only girl in town......

Oh no, not at all. In fact, I just bought his "best of" CD about a month ago. It includes his own version (with him singing) of Shaving Cream, plus My Dog Rover, Dead Puppies . . . I haven't laughed that hard in a long time!

Try Bob Rivers. Gems like 'I Can't Drive, I'm 65', 'I Came Upon a Roadkill Deer' will have you laughing so hard you may wet your pants.

Today it's Charlie Daniels. Yesterday, it was Queen, tomorrow, maybe Toby Keith. Have to go get the Buddy Jewell CD, too.

Let's see here, in my 5 CD changer I have Jimi Hendrix, Pappa Roach, Foo Fighters Linkin Park &.....huh?...what's this?....oh crap I forgot to take out the Nat King Cole CD I was trying to swoon this gal with....didn't work either. [blush, blush] OK. I'll swap out the "Nat" for the new Steeley Dan CD called "Everything Must Go". It's silky smooth.

Right now I am running the latest Cher CD.. I can't remember the name without heading out to the car, but it is the one based on her final tour stuff.. everything from Sonny to Believe is on the cd.. good mix of stuff for anyone who is a Cher fan.

Just wish I had been able to see her in concert during the final tour.

But I also have about 30 other cd's in the car, ranging from Melissa Etheridge, Rob Zombie, AC/DC, Eminem, Sara McLaughlin, Eagles, CCR and George Thorogood.

I have an MP3 player in my car so I have a cd with everything from Garth Brooks to Metallica...

These are what I have been mostly listen to lately though: ColdPlay - A Rush Of Blood To The Head, Evenescense, Jack Johnson (great cd if you haven't given it a try, even for you "older" folks), Staind - 14 Shades of Grey, Matchbox 20 - More Than You Think You Are, Avril Lavigne - Let Go and the new RadioHead CD, I can't remember the name of the album.

I'm currently flip-flopping between David Allan Coe's 17 Greatest Hits, and Dvorak's "New World" Symphony.

Slot 1 & 2 are Rolling Stones Greatest hits. They are always there. Slot three & four is Metalica's Symphony set. Slot five has Santana's latest album, with six containing the Hollies greatest hits.

I use Total Recorder

to break up the mp3's if they are too long to fit on a CD. Then I use Nero to burn them to CD, playable on any standard CD player. Hope this helps!

I liked him back when he had that semi-punk thing going on--his Look Sharp album/CD. Sunday Papers, Throw It Away, Is She Really Going Out With Him, and Got the Time. That was cool shit! His later stuff, though not bad, was a little mellow.

But for my driving time, there's no CDs, no music, it's NPR... National Public Radio. They have some great news stuff on there. Everything from news behind the headlines, to interviews like Martin Luther Kings Jr's son and the punk band the White Strips, to Click and Clack's automotive call in show, they have all kinds of interesting stuff. I'm hooked!
