A few days ago, the ventilator fan in my '99 Sentra GXE began making a sound like a playing card stuck in bicycle spokes. Shortly thereafter, it began making noises like the death rattle of a mastadon with TB. Then it quit entirely. The dealer told me a mouse had built a nest in the duct and wrapped some nesting material around the fan blade. He cleaned it out, replaced a blown fuse, and I was back in business. Well, today it started making the same "card in the spokes" kind of noises. I can't afford roughly $100 bucks every time a mouse decides my heating/cooling system makes a dandy condo. Can anyone tell me how I can get to the fan motor and clean out the nesting material myself?
TIA...
