Does anyone know if a 1987 928s4 will fit through a 7' wide garage door?
According to the official dimensions it will, but I don't know if the dimensions include the mirrors!
Appreciate any first hand experience.

Can't help. For what it may be worth, my '02 996 TT fits through a 7' wide door. Not a lot of room on each side, but it fits. The turbo models, as you know, are a bit "fatter" in the hips.
