Does anyone know if the factory anti-freeze is good for cold climates? I bought my car in Texas and moved it to Norway. Do I have to change the ratio?

Ask the norwegian Toyota Rep

Kirsty,
Open the front hood. Look on the underside of the hood (front edge, passenger side). You should find a sticker telling you the cooling system was filled with Toyota Super Long Life coolant. My sticker says nothing of the ratio but instead refers me to the manual. In my manual (Page 286) it says "For the U.S.A. - "Toyota Super Long Life Coolant" is a mixture of 50% coolant and 50% deionized water. This coolant provides protection down to about -35C (-31F).
Since your car was originally delivered to the U.S.A. and is, like mine, a
2005 this information is applicable.WAS
