I am wondering if anyone remembers if the '93 9000 SRS system was optional or was it legislated by this time? I know most machines had it installed by the time it hit the dealer floor, but I seem to remember it was a still a factory option as of 1993.
The SRS air bag system was standard in US destined 9000's before 1993. I'm mostly certain that SRS was standard starting in 1990; that is when passive restraints became mandatory in the US. 9000's never had automatic seat belts like some 900's did for a few years. Again, this is based on US specs, since that is the information I have.
