Remote starters.

I don't know for certain, but I can offer an educated guess - it should be the same as far as the ignition and sensor wiring that you'd be tying into.

heheh, just make sure you don't bypass the gearshift interlock. or clutch one. It's never fun to hit the button and watch your car start up and drive off, though if you're an onlooker it's quite funny...

When I attach the wires for the remote start do I splice the wires in? or do I cut and replace?

If you don't bypass the clutch switch, how is the car going to start without you pushing the clutch in?

Considering it's a '91 maybe that is the idea remote start off a cliff for the insurance.
