I still check in now and then wish more would . I spend most of the time I once spent on the inernet working on my cars.

Ya, I'm here, trying to learn a scratch pad so I can see if I can work it as easily as a mouse. Sowly catching on. My first laptop. I think that I made a deal involving my ;64 Commander today. That will get me out of Studebaker cars, but condtions say it makes sense.

The meeting at the museum gives me hope that there will be improvements - one possibility being my Commander, once it's restored. We've a beautiful '37 convert hot rod there right now - looks great. I don't know what model it was to start.

Karl.

I still check here once in a while. I am working on getting my '57 Packard wagon running. It's all done, just a MINOR fuel issue. I have either a bad fuel pump or something wrong in the carb. Hopefully I will get it on the road soon. I can't wait!

Hey Karl, It's illegal for you to not have a Studebaker . Paul Johnson

I'm still here, but I only post occasionally. My access the NG is hit & miss, depends upon which ISP I'm hooked up to.

Not many people on here, probably because you can post pix on the forum.

He checked with his accontant, so I'm giving it to the museum,. Perhaps then it will get the care and attenrtion it needs. When the car is in place, the space between storage cabinets and file caBINETS ON THE OTHER SIDE IS ABOUT 18" THAN THE CAR - NOT COUNTING MIRRORS, WHICH DO NOT ENTER INTO THE PROBLEM, Opps, sorry didn't notice I wejt to all caps.

lol, its UP? last few times I looked it was down.. they dont like me anyway.

Check in almost every day. Just switched from dialup to 1.5 Meg.Broadband wireless.. WOW!!!!!!! On the Stude front, put the 36 dictator in the heated shop yesterday. My son, a junior in high school wants it ready for prom, mid April... Lots to do.... Later, Kevin

umm, YEAH that... sorta fits it real well- arm chair experts that know EVERYTHING --Shiva--

Wireless, eh? What ISP?

I'm so sick of being stuck on dial up from livin' in the woods...

I guess this place is dead what happened.....Yes I have been gone but when you buy a sixty year old crawler and a seventy year old tractor and then build a backhoe that will fit either you get busy putting them to work to at least break even. Then I went through two computers and lost this place. Got so busy making money digging holes for people I did not have much time for anything else last year. The Toyota T cab still isnt finished but with two good weekends it will be but at least now I have a pile of money to draw from to get it driveable.

Toyota eh?

I sort of have had my eye on an old '59 Lark two door six that I would like to convert to a Toyota drive train probably from something like a rear wheel drive Celica or such. Tough, economical engines with plenty of zip.

That's item # 2492a on the "to do" list if I last that long...

Toyota T-cab?

Toyobaker? Studeyota?

Go to a wrecking yard and take a look at donor vehicles.......not much to choose from any more and putting a chipped engine in a Stude......just the meantion makes my head ache. I got lucky fifteen years ago with the wagon and found a Camero with an inline that just had minor damage so I could start the engine and listen to it. Toyota stayed with a mass of vaccume lines to get stuff done for years after the big three went to chips so it is easy enough to just use the minimum vaccume circuits. With the way fuel is I am starting to wonder if I will ever get the engine rebuilt in my other T cab and then ther is the cost....two grand for an engine in a beater T cab..with rebuilt brakes and delrin spring eye inserts and a rebuilt Dana 44......if only the body was not so bad.......but then I have an extra bed and the fenders rust out anyhow.....
