My wife liked the talking caller ID phone/calculator/alarm/etc for $9.99 so we picked up one. It does what is says it will- speaks the number of the caller and displays the info on a large LCD screen. It also lights up a big upright touch-screen when you touch speaker phone or pick up the handset. I have trouble understanding how they can sell something that capable that cheaply (we'll see). It allowed her to gain desk space by removing the conventional phone and calculator. Speaking the number is important to us because every time the phone rings we have to look for our glasses to see what number is being displayed . Paul Johnson
